I'm raising money to help Joy In The Cause ! 

They're growing projects that will be impacted by your generous support. Volunteers involved in The Purpose Project regularly visit and bring joy to individuals in nursing homes, military facilities, and assisted living facilities. The largest and fastest growing effort is Joy To The Rescue. This project equips local police, fire departments, and other first responders with backpacks filled with resources to help adults and children facing a crisis or difficult situation. Another project close to our hearts is Joy In The Adventure which encourages families to find joy in the adventure of life after losing a loved one. These projects are making a difference in the community, and we’d love to have your support!

I originally became interested in Joy In The Cause when my good friend's son was battling brain cancer.  This group of wonderful volunteers brought hope and light to her family during a time that was very stressful and frightening for them.  Fast forward one year, and my family was on the receiving end of one of their many visits to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialist and Research Institute. My dad was receiving his first treatment for pancreatic cancer. Lisa and Mavis gifted him with a sweet mini-Mavis, a blanket, and HOPE. I cannot thank Lisa enough for bringing light to my dad that day. He had been in a very dark place, and Mavis got a smile out of him immediately.
